I’d like to say that I created these muffins entirely on purpose but that certainly wasn’t the case. I had this immense craving one day for a crumbly blueberry muffin and so I decided to whip some up for the busy week ahead. Continue reading
“It’s funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back everything is different…”
I still can’t quite wrap my head around the fact that this is it. The end of another year is upon us. Just like that, we are leaving 2016 behind. At a time when we all begin to reflect on the things that have happened over the past twelve months we also begin to plan new goals, resolutions, new challenges, new predictions of what the next 365 days might bring. I stumbled across this poem the other day;
Do you remember the night the moon dropped from the sky?
And we ran through the forest to find where it lie,
I was tripping on tree roots and slipping on snow,
You were holding my hand saying not to let go,
When we found it at last there were twigs in our hair,
A rose on our cheeks and our breath in the air,
And the words to describe it got caught in our throats,
And its silver light danced through the threads on our coats,
We knew that our eyes had not seen such a view,
You were looking at it,
I was looking at you.
