I made a pit stop at Whole Foods on my way home from work the other day. I pulled into the crowded parking lot, snagged a pretty decent spot (to my surprise), parked my car like a pro and headed in on a broccoli, grapefruit and almond yogurt mission. After grabbing what I needed from the produce section I continued on and strolled through the remaining isles finding myself reaching for items not on my list (hunger, maybe?). I swear not a moment goes by when I’m not thinking about food in one way, shape, form or another. My brain is always planning my next meal, new recipes or craving a chocolate something or other. As a result, you can only imagine the struggle I deal with while I’m constantly cooking and baking for my blog and the never ending requirement to taste-test my food (tough life, I know). I’ve noticed over the past month or so the struggle I’ve been having to write my blog posts. I would find myself digging down deep for inspiration, something, anything to help the words flow…but would come up with nothing. When I first noticed the change I started to panic thinking that this was it, I’m done. My entire blog and what I strive to share, my passion for life, was gone. How would I continue if my waterfall of thoughts on love, life, happiness, sadness, bumps in the road, all of it, had run dry? My almost two year run of The Happy Hungry Yogi had come to it’s finale. And I had failed.
