Dukkah is an Egyptian condiment that is made up of a blend of herbs, nuts and spices. It is generally used as a dip with bread that has been basted in olive oil. However, the nutty flavor also works well as a topping for salads, soups, roasted veggies and meats. The possibilities are endless!



  • 1/4 nuts (almonds, hazelnuts or pecans are good options)
  • 2 tbsp coriander seeds
  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp black peppercorns
  • 1/2 tsp flaky sea salt
  1. In a food processor, combine all of the ingredients and pulse to chop until you have a coarse meal.
  2. Store in a sealed jar in a cool dry place.
